Ruby Weaver

Ruby Jean (Belland) Weaver, 74, of White Earth, MN passed away on Saturday, August 14, 2021 at Essentia Health – St. Mary’s in Detroit Lakes, MN.

Ruby Jean Weaver was born on November 26, 1946 in White Earth, MN to Leslie “Happy” Sr. and Florence (Jackson) Belland. She grew up in the White Earth area her whole life and attended the Circle of Life Academy.

Ruby worked at the Circle of Life Academy as maintenance for a number of years and she also worked for Shooting Star Casino as a waitress.

Ruby was united in marriage to Wallace Weaver in 1966 and the couple later divorce. Ruby had seven children Paulette, Stacey, Brad, Wallace Jr., Matthew, Clyde, and Kimberly. She met Joseph Roy whom she dated for a while before they separated. Ruby then met Pat Bellcourt and they were together until his passing.

Ruby enjoyed shopping, rummaging, car rides, watching the birds, and visiting with family and friends. She loved animals, especially her side kick dog Sage. She had a heart of gold, very generous, and genuine. Ruby cared for everyone, especially her family and she made time to be with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She was the roots of the tree and will be tremendously missed.

Ruby is survived by her children; Paulette Belland, Stacey (Jean) Weaver, Brad Sr. (Deb) Weaver, Wallace Weaver Jr., Matthew (Donna) Weaver, Clyde (Amanda) Weaver, and Kimberly Weaver, her 19 grandchildren, her 14 great-grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren on the way, her brother Orville Belland and many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her siblings Clyde, Leslie Jr., Melvin, Larry, Jeanette, and Shirley, her granddaughter Samantha, and her nephews Arnold Belland, Kenny Fairbanks, Doug Fairbanks, and Donna Fairbanks
