Derek Lee Keezer age 28, of White Earth, MN., unexpectedly passed away on December 15, 2019. Derek was born on February 14, 1991 in Detroit Lakes, MN to Jeff Keezer and Tammy (Bellanger) Bunker.
Derek grew up in Waubun, MN and on the White Earth Reservation with two siblings his brother Devan and sister Samantha, who he especially loved. He attended Waubun School before receiving his GED in September of 2018. He loved cooking, loved gambling especially his scratch offs, and spending time with his family and friends. He also loved spending time with his children. He was always considerate of others no matter what. Derek loved to joke around and laugh; he always had a smile on his face and a very big heart. Derek worked at few different places throughout his life which included the Shooting Star Casino, Mahnomen Grainery and most recently was working out of state, building Grain Bins with his Dad and Uncle Bob. He loved making money.
Derek is united in death with his uncles; Ricky Bellanger and Marvin “Bunny Bosh” Bellanger, his maternal grandmother; Goldie Hanks, his maternal grandfather; Darwin Bellanger and his paternal grandfather; Kenneth Keezer Sr.
He leaves behind his mother; Tammy (Bellanger) Bunker (Jerry) of Mahnomen, MN, his father; Jeff Keezer of Waubun, MN, a brother; Devan Keezer (Zee) of Mahnomen, MN, four sisters; Samantha Keezer of Mahnomen, MN, Brenna Keezer (Sam) of Bemidji, MN, Brooke Keezer and Porsha Keezer of Naytahwaush, MN, his children; Jazzalyn Skye of Mahnomen, MN, Nindaanis Tiffany-Lynn of St. Cloud, MN and Zaiden of Fosston, MN, his grandmother; Susan Keezer of Waubun, MN, his nieces and nephews and his Aunts and Uncles and numerous cousins.
Derek will forever be missed by all who knew him.
