Betty Prussia

Betty Lorraine Prussia (Rothschadl), 70, died unexpectedly at home on May 22, 2021. Betty was born June 18, 1950, in Mahnomen, MN, the daughter of Jim and Elizabeth Rothschadl.

Betty graduated from Waubun High School in 1968.  She was married to Chuck Prussia on November 7, 1971.  Early in their marriage, Chuck and Betty lived in Virginia, while Chuck served in the Navy.  They later moved to Callaway, MN in 1975. The two celebrated 49 years of marriage together.

In the late 1970s, Betty owned an Upholstery business. She later went on to work at the Callaway Liquor Store up until retirement.  Betty loved antiquing, reading, gardening, cooking, canning and following her granddaughters in softball, volleyball and choir.

Betty is survived by her husband Chuck Prussia; her son Josh Prussia and his wife Amy (Johnson) Prussia; three grandchildren, Sydney Prussia, Laura Prussia and Taylor Prussia; sisters Mary (Bill) Leff, Jeanette (Ted) Hanwick, Barbara Rothschadl, Judy Rothschadl; brothers Mark Rothschadl, David Rothschadl, and James Rothschadl, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Betty was proceeded in death by her parents Jim and Elizabeth Rothschadl and her brother Paul Rothschadl.

A service of remembrance will be held at David-Donehower on Thursday, June 3, 2021 with a visitation beginning at 5 pm and a service of remembrance at 6 pm.  All are welcome.
