Terry Roll

Terry Lynn Roll, 47, resident of Detroit Lakes , MN passed away unexpectedly Thursday, September 11, 2008 at St. Mary's Innovis Hospital in Detroit Lakes .  The Funeral Service will be 1:00 PM Tuesday, September 16 at First Lutheran Church in Detroit Lakes .

Visitation will be 5-8 PM Monday, September 15 at the church and will continue one hour prior to the service on Tuesday.

Terry Lynn (Oslund) Roll was born on May 28, 1961 to Layton and Marie (Benson) Oslund in Roseau , MN . She was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith at Riverside Lutheran in Wannaska , MN . She graduated from Roseau High School in 1979 and attended school in Crookston. Terry married Wesley Roll on September 20, 1980 at Riverside Lutheran in Wannaska , MN . While they resided in Roseau Terry worked 19 years for Hayes/Czeh Accounting. Their daughter Jessica was born in June 1983 and their son Michael in 1989. They resided in Roseau until 2001, when they moved to Detroit Lakes . While in Detroit Lakes , Terry worked in dental practices. Most recently she had spent many hours volunteering at the St. Mary’s Dialysis Clinic in Detroit Lakes . Terry’s greatest joys were her family, husband Wes at Triangle Ag Services, daughter Jessica, a biomedical engineer, and son Michael, a student at NDSU. Terry enjoyed life, making others laugh, cooking, baking and sharing those gifts with others.

Terry is survived by her husband, Wes; daughter, Jessica; and son, Michael; her parents, Layton and Marie Oslund of Wannaska, MN; sister, Cindy (Bruce) Melby of Larimore, ND; two brothers, David (Jodi) Oslund of Wannaska, MN and Jason (Jacki) Oslund of Williams, MN; mother-in-law, Ramona Roll of LaCrosse, WI; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, David and Peggy (Roll) Hinsverk of LaCrosse, WI; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Robert and Elizabeth (Roll) Eisenberg; and numerous nieces and nephews.
