Steven Score

Steven W. Score, 59, of Detroit Lakes, MN. died February 10, 2015 in Kerrville, TX. Steven was born May 30, 1955 in Salina, Kansas. After two years of college at the University of Minnesota, he joined the United States Air Force and served as a weatherman at Mountain Home Air Force Base in Idaho. Steve worked in the HVAC industry for most of his professional life and he spent the last fifteen years of his career working at Ferguson Enterprises in Fargo, ND. Steve and his wife Kathy have wintered in Texas for the past five years. Steven was a Freemason, a dedicated volunteer at Ecumen- Emmanuel nursing home, and spent many years restoring the pioneer cemetery, Elmwood Cemetery in Lake Eunice Township. Steve leaves his wife of 31 years, Kathy (Tross) Score; sons, Matthew Score, Erik Score, and Jacob Score; daughter, Kelly Score; sister, Cynthia Score Abrahamson, and brother, David Score. He is preceded in death by his parents, Wallace and Shirley Score and sister Gail Score. Steve was always a loving husband and father, a dedicated friend, a tenacious worker, and a devoted Christian. His infectious smile, his sparkling good looks, and his killer personality will be missed by all who knew him. Contributions in memory of Steve may be made to the Alzheimer's Association at alz.org.
