Michael Critt

Michael George Critt, "Critter", age 65, of Detroit Lakes, MN, passed at his home on Saturday, September 22, 2018.  A funeral service will be at 2:00 pm on Friday, October 5, 2018, at the White Earth Community Center.

Michael was born on November 20, 1952, to Raymond Clark and Beatrice Critt, in White Earth, MN.  At a young age he went to live with Hazel Cusey, his foster parent.  He grew up and lived his entire life in Detroit Lakes; where he lived above the Northside Bar for 26 years.   In 1983, Michael became disabled.

Michael loved spending time with his family and friends.  He also loved being outdoors in a round of golf.

He is survived by a daughter, Tracy of Cornelius, OR; three grandchildren: Abby, Evan, and Finnigan all of Cornelius, OR; three sisters, Judy of Detroit Lakes, Linda of Hot Springs, AR, and Donna of Frazee; a foster brother, Bill Cusey of Hot Springs, AR; several nieces and nephews; and his great-nieces and great-nephews.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Beatrice; a brother, John; a sister, Maureen; and a nephew, Cameron
