Lydia L. Nichols, age 25, of White Earth, MN, passed away on Sunday, December 30, 2018, in White Earth, MN. under the care of Hospice of the Red River Valley.
Lydia was born on May 30, 1993, to Laurene French in Detroit Lakes, MN. She attended Circle of Life Academy for elementary school. In 2008 Lydia moved to Hutchinson, MN. where she lived with the Nichols family. In 2009 she moved to Joplin, MO and was adopted by the Nichols family. In the summer of 2010 Lydia suffered from kidney failure. She graduated from Webb City High School in Webb City, MO in 2011. She went on to study Phlebotomy at the local college. She returned to White Earth in 2013 and then moved to the Fargo-Moorhead area. In 2016 she went back to Joplin, returning to White Earth in 2017. She struggled with her health and entered into hospice in 2018.
Lydia enjoyed traveling and driving in her car. She loved to dress up and go out on the town. She liked visiting with friends and family.
She is survived by five brothers, Lee, Logan, C.J., Preston, and Drew; and a sister, Loretta, a grandmother, Debra Warren, her adoptive family; Scott and Susan Nichols, sisters; Haley and Leta, brothers; Levi, Zachary, Ethan and Isaac. numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Laurene French; her grandfather, Percy Vilas; and her great-grandparents, George and Patricia Warren; her two aunts, Lorraine Warren, and Louise (Clifford) Hanks; and three uncles: Robert Warren, Daniel Warren, and Phillip Warren.
