Joann G. Knapp, 87 born on February 11, 1934 in Aurora, IA and passed away peacefully on August 26,2021 at Emmanuel Nursing Home. Joann spent her high school years in Spring Lake Park, MN and was a long time resident of Detroit Lakes, MN. She was known as a local artist, junior high art teacher, & led water aerobics classes for Community Ed for over 40 years.
Joann is survived by her children Leigh Ota, Pam Black, Sara Sneed, Chris Knapp and 7 grandchildren
