Jill Schoon

Jill Schoon, a beloved wife, mother, and dedicated professional, passed away on August 3, 2025, in Detroit Lakes, Minnesota. She was born on May 7, 1963, in Fridley, Minnesota.

Jill pursued her dreams with determination, earning a master's degree in engineering. She built a fulfilling career in highway maintenance, where her skills and dedication contributed to the communities she served.

Jill was cherished by many, especially her family. She is survived by her husband, Trent Schoon, and her two sons, Jonathan and Jordan Turner. These relationships brought her immense joy and purpose, and her family will carry forward the love and lessons she imparted.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ivan Crandal and Yvonne Gram. Jill's strong spirit and caring nature will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

A Celebration of Life will be held in honor of Jill at the Detroit Lakes VFW on Saturday, August 9, 2025, from noon until 4pm.
