Immediately following graduation, Jim proudly enlisted in the United States Air Force. During his four years of service, he was stationed in Japan for two years and Turkey for one year. On September 2, 1967, Jim married the love of his life, Phyllis Goeser, at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Munich, North Dakota. Together they built a beautiful life and shared 58 years of marriage filled with love, family, and countless memories.
