Ian R. Stalboerger, 20, Roseville, MN, died July 15, 2017 in Shoreview, MN due to an accidental drug overdose.
Funeral Services for Ian will be held Monday, July 24 at 1pm in Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church, Callaway, MN. Visitation will be held Sunday, July 23 at Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church from 5pm-7pm and continue one hour prior to services on Monday.
Ian Ray Stalboerger was born July 1, 1997 in Fargo, ND to Wesley and Lisa (King) Stalboerger. He attended Roosevelt Elementary in Detroit Lakes before moving to Roseville, MN where he attended Roseville Middle School and Roseville High School. After school, Ian worked with his father in the drywall and painting business. He then accepted a position with Chandler Place Assisted Living in St. Anthony, MN. Most recently, Ian was employed at Cub Foods in Arden Hills. Ian loved participating and watching sporting events, especially baseball and tennis. He also enjoyed playing video games and watching episodes of his favorite series of Trailer Park Boys and Always Sunny in Philadelphia. Spending time with his friends along with twin brother Taylor and their dog Maynard were some of the most important things to Ian.
Ian is survived by his father, Wesley (Tarisa) Stalboerger of Rochert, MN, his mother: Lisa King of Roseville, MN, three brothers: Taylor Stalboerger of Roseville, Gavin Wateland of Roseville, Kai Stalboerger of Rochert and two sisters: Demeri Stalboerger and McKaylee Stalboerger of Rochert. In addition he is survived by his grandparents: Bob (Gretchen) Stalboerger of Callaway, MN, Wendell (Patricia) King of South Haven, MN and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
