Eugene Alvin Morrison was born April 24, 1933 to Chester and Mabel Morrison in Ogema, Minnesota. He was the oldest of 4 children. Eugene graduated from Waubun High School in 1951. He married Opal Mae Mastin in 1951. They moved to Detroit Lakes, Minnesota and raised 6 children. Opal passed away in 1992. Eugene married Theresa Trojanowski in 1994 and moved to Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. Theresa passed away in 2020. Eugene recently resided at Essentia Health, Oak Crossing until his passing.
Eugene was a sheet metal worker, carpenter/house builder, farmer, motel manager, and later, world traveler.
He was a hardworking, loving father and grandfather. He was looked up to, a man of high character and good humor. He was liked by most and loved by many. He will be missed.
He is survived by siblings Charles (Barbara) and Larry (Ruth), children Douglas (Shirley), Darrell (Nancy), Daniel (Joan), Danell Haspel (Charles), Donovan (Deborah), and Darcy Nansen (Gary). He is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren and a great, great grandchild.
He is preceeded in death by his parents and sister Vivian and her husband Glen Anderson.

A memorial is to be held in the spring.
