Elizabeth Anne Dahl (Warner), 66, passed away on January 10, 2026, in Frazee, Minnesota.
Liz was born on February 4, 1959, in Fargo, North Dakota, to Gretchen and Fred Warner. She grew up surrounded by family and carried a deep love for time spent at the lake, especially at the family cottage on Melissa Lake. This was a place that brought her peace, joy, and cherished memories throughout her life.
She attended Fargo South High School, where she formed lasting friendships and memories that stayed with her throughout her life.
Liz worked numerous jobs throughout her life, always bringing creativity and dedication to everything she did. She was involved in working with Frederick Flowers, but her most cherished work was at Hotel Shoreham, where she devoted over 20 years of service. A gifted entertainer and decorator, Liz had a natural eye for beauty and detail, creating memorial celebrations and meaningful moments for countless others. She had a deep love for life and the outdoors, especially her time spent at the lake. Liz cherished moments with friends and family, often bringing people together with warmth, laughter, and joy. She loved hosting events of any kind, taking great care to ensure each was beautifully decorated and perfectly set up. Her creativity, humor, and generous spirit left a lasting impression on everyone who knew her.
She is known for her big heart and playful sense of humor, she cared deeply for everyone who came into her life. She lived life to the fullest, finding joy and fun in every moment, and her presence could brighten any room she entered.
She was married to Dennis Dahl for 10 years before they separated. They have two beautiful children, Andrew and Emma. Liz is survived by her son, Andrew, his wife Alex, and granddaughter Palmer, her daughter Emma and her fiancé Trey. She is also survived by her siblings: sister Deb (John) Holstad, and brothers Rich and Fred Warner. Liz was preceded in death by her parents, Gretchen and Fred Warner.
Liz will be remembered for her big heart, her love of family and friends, and her joyful spirit that could brighten any room. She lived life to the fullest, creating beauty, laughter, and memories wherever she went. Her warmth, humor, and generosity will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
