Donavon Weber

Donavon, L. Weber, 25, Ogema, MN, died Friday, June 30 as a result of injuries received in a trenching accident in rural Callaway, MN. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Thursday, July 6 at Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church in Callaway, MN, Reverends Matt Meyer and Del Stohs, officiating. Interment will be in Oak Grove Cemetery, Detroit Lakes, MN. Friends may call 5:00 – 7:00 PM Wednesday with a prayer service at 7:00 PM at Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church. The visitation will continue 1 hour prior to the service at the church on Thursday. Donavon Leonard Weber was born January 22, 1992 in Detroit Lakes, MN to Anthony and Lisa (Erickson) Weber. He was raised and educated in rural Ogema and is a 2010 graduate of Waubun High School. He began his love of farming by taking a job on Ma & Pa Roadside Market at the age of 11. Since then he has worked for Steve Kozitka Dairy, the Miller-Bisek Dairy Farm and Wally Danielson Farm. Donavon was also partners in a family farming operation with his dad and two brothers. In addition to farming, he enjoyed hunting, 4-wheeling, and spending time with family, friends and, especially his two nephews. Donavon is survived by his parents: Tony (Denise Warren) Weber of Ogema; Lisa Hartmann (Nicholas Buck) of Mahnomen, two brothers: Dustin (Revel) Weber of Callaway, MN, Ryan (Veronica Spry) Weber of Waubun, MN., two nephews, Jase and Reed Weber, his grandmother, Florence Weber of Callaway, MN, his Significant Other, Paige Littlewolf of Ogema, MN, several aunts and uncles. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Norris and Cora Erickson and Gideon Weber, several Aunts and uncles. David-Donehower Funeral Home is serving the family.
