Debra Carlson

Debra Carlson, age 62, of Menahga, Minnesota, passed away unexpectedly on July 11, 2026.

She was born on February 12, 1964, in Simi Valley, California, to Jay and Ruth Reed. She grew up in Simi Valley and later made her home in Minnesota. More than anything, Debra loved her family. She found her greatest joy in her three boys — her "J Boys" — and in watching her grandchildren grow.

She is survived by her partner, Lawrence; her sons, James (Bonnie), Justin (Kim), and Jerred (Rochelle); and her seven grandchildren: Kaylee, Jamie, Jaden, Kenna, Ryleiana, Jace, and Rhyett.

A celebration of life will be held Saturday, July 18, 2026, at 12:00 p.m. at the Menahga VFW. All who knew and loved her are welcome to join in remembering her life.
