David Peterson

David Roger Peterson, 67, of Detroit Lakes, MN, passed away on Thursday, March 31, 2022, at Essentia Health-St Mary’s Hospital in Detroit Lakes.  David was born in Detroit Lakes on June 15, 1953, to Lloyd and Minnie (Erickson) Peterson.  David attended school in Lake Park, MN, and graduated in 1972.  He spent most of his working years at Snappy’s in Detroit Lakes.  He spent most of his retirement years in various senior living facilities in the Detroit Lakes area due to health issues.

David is survived by a brother, Myron (Juneal) Peterson of Thief River Falls, MN; a sister-in-law, Carol Peterson of Fargo, ND; a nephew, Brett (Brittney) Peterson of West Fargo, ND; a niece, Kylie (Matt) Nustad of Cape Coral, FL; grand-nephews, Gavin and Carson Peterson of West Fargo, ND; and several cousins in the lakes area.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Lloyd and Minnie, and a brother, Mark Peterson.
