David Houglum

David Arden Houglum, 73, of Onamia, MN, passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 15, 2016 in Bagley, MN. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, May 21 at 2PM in David Donehower Funeral Home, Detroit Lakes. Visitation will be one hour prior. David was born on July 25, 1942 in Fargo, ND. He was raised in Audubon and graduated from Audubon High School in 1960. He spent several years as an over-the-road truck driver before his retirement. He enjoyed hunting, especially his annual deer hunting outings with his brothers. He also enjoyed fishing and watching the Minnesota Vikings. David is survived by his children: Marty (Jesse) of Rothsay, Monika of Isle, Carmen of Fargo, Trampas (Joanie) of Shakopee, and Ty (Jenny) of Mora, brothers: Roger (Donna) of Bagley, Gerald (Beverly) of Little Fork, and Jonathan (Carolyn) of Franklin, NC, one sister: Kathleen (Rick) Gandrud of Audubon along with 12 grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents.
