On February 21, 2021 Connie Renee (Thortsen) Cook, loving wife, mother, grandmother and great- grandmother passed away at the age of 58. Connie was born September 23, 1962 in Warroad, MN to Harold and Theowen Thortsen. . Connie was an outstanding High School athlete and graduated from Warroad High School. She was married to Bradley Cook on August 22, 1987. Together they had four daughters Connie was an entrepreneur, and together she and Bradley owned and operated Last Call, Appraisals Plus and Cook's Specialties.

Connie was an avid gardener and wildlife photographer. She enjoyed being outdoors and taking pontoon rides with her husband, family and friends. She had an eye for art and her creativity was unmeasurable. Connie loved spending time with and taking care of her dogs. Her greatest love and accomplishments were being a wife to her best friend Bradley, being a mother, daughter, sister, grandmother and great grandmother, aunt and friend. Her passion for life will be greatly missed.

Connie is survived by the love of her life and best friend, her husband of 33 years, Bradley; daughters, Kristy (Mike), Natalie, Melissa and Ashley (Patrick); grandchildren, Devin, Abrianna, Grady, Brody, Kelsey, Conner, Kenzie, Cameron and Nash; a great grandchild Julian; mother Theowen; sisters Barb (Lee) and Nancy; brother Dale (Chrisann) and many cousins, nieces and nephews. Connie was preceded in death by her father Harold.

A celebration of life ceremony will be held on Saturday, February 27, 2021 at Community Alliance Church in Detroit Lakes, Minnesota with visitation from 1-2 p.m. and the ceremony to follow from 2-3 p.m. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic social distancing guidelines will be followed.
