Cleo Leigh Hill

Cleo Hill, 4 months old, died on Wednesday, July 5, 2023 at her home in Waubun, MN.

Cleo Leigh Hill was born on February 16, 2023 in Detroit Lakes, MN the daughter of Duane Hill and Brittany Basswood. She lived only four months before her unexpected passing, but touched the lives of many and will never be forgotten.

She is preceded in death by her grandparents: Averyl Boswell and Kenneth Basswood, Barbara Hill and Dennis Houle, and her uncle, Jack Basswood.

Cleo will be remembered by her parents, her siblings Zendaya, Ariella, Silas, and Thea Hill, her dad’s family: Michael and Robin Morley, Ken and Melissa Bergren, David Hill, Gary Lague, Lori Hill, Jackie Black, and Lanette Hill, and her mother’s family: Evelyn Boswell, Kimberly Bellanger, Janice Basswood, Carla Looyen, Lucus Basswood, Melvin Brown, Breanna Fairbanks, Fiona Fairbanks, Kayla Thompson, and Kyle Cloud.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the Rice Lake Community Center in Bagley, MN.  The Wake will begin at 6:00 p.m. Friday July 14, 2023 with the Service at 10:00 a.m. Saturday July 15, 2023.
