Charlotte (Glawe) Buehler, 98, was born on December 12, 1926, in Candor Township, passed away peacefully on October 7, 2025, at Sunnyside Care Center with her family by her side. She attended Frazee High School, graduating in 1945, was confirmed and married to her beloved husband, Harry Buehler, June 12, 1946, at Zion Lutheran Church in Detroit Lakes.
She was a remarkable mother, participated in various church activities, including Quilting Group and was a member of Homemakers Group. She enjoyed gardening, her flower beds, and baking and cooking were other cherished activities. Charlotte and Harry were both very active in the Sybil Rod and Gun Club by Vergas, MN.
Charlotte is survived by her 3 children Sandra (David) Antonsen of Vergas, Darlene Olson of Detroit Lakes, and Ronald (Patty) of Waseca, MN. She was a proud grandmother of Michelle (Brian) Archer, Jolyn Antonsen, Austin Buehler, Alec Buehler (Bre Murrey), Malaina Buehler (Sage Lang), Kirsten (Guy) Stiening, Erik Olson, Heidi Stiening, and Logan (Brooklyn) Stiening, and one great grandson, Aiden Archer. She will also be remembered by numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
Charlotte was preceded in death by her parents, Adolph and Ida Glawe, her beloved husband, Harry in 1997, three brothers, Ray, Norman and Alvin, one sister, Ruth Rosentreter, and son-in-law, Daryle (Ole) Olson.
A visitation will be held on October 11, 2025, from 9:00am to 11:00am, followed by a funeral service at St. John’s Lutheran Church, located at 410 E Scharf Ave, Vergas, MN. Charlotte will be laid to rest at St. John’s Lutheran Cemetery following services.
A special thank you to Sunnyside Care Center for the wonderful care and HIA Hospice given to her. She loved them all and will be remembered for her bright smile, sense of humor, and the love she shared with those around her.
