Caylin Donovan

Caylin A. Donovan, 10 year old daughter of Andrew and Ginnie Donovan, died Friday, June 10, 2016 from injuries sustained in an accident near Brainerd, MN. Funeral Services for Caylin will be held Tuesday, June 21, 2016 at 2PM in Lake Park-Audubon Elementary School in Audubon. Visitation will be held Monday, June 20 at David Donehower Funeral Home from 5pm-7pm with a Prayer Service and a time of sharing memories at 7pm. After a bit of coaxing, Caylin Antoinette Donovan was born August 16, 2005 in Detroit Lakes to Andrew and Ginnie (Parenteau) Donovan. Caylin was a breath of the freshest air you could ever imagine. She touched so many lives in her short time with us. Through her unique fashion sense and perspective, she had a powerful way of bringing light and love to any person or adventure she encountered.

For the past six years, Caylin lived on a farm south of Lake Park where she mastered the pogo stick on gravel and her knees showed the signs of her love for climbing trees. She enjoyed spending time with her family whenever possible. Caylin had just finished 5th grade at Lake Park-Audubon Elementary, where she shared many fun experiences with her friends and always commented about how nice all the teachers were. Caylin was truly a magical person in so many ways. We will miss our beautiful bright shining star, who was so full of love and laughter. Caylin will be remembered and deeply missed by her parents: Ginnie Donovan and Andrew Donovan, sister: Riven Donovan, her grandparents: Janell and Steve Sandbeck, Joni and Juel Dunham and Steve Parenteau. In addition she is also survived by godparents: Justin and Kelly Donovan, Kimo Le'Count and Alicia Cheatham as well as numerous great-grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins. The family requests memorials in lieu of flowers.
