Carol Haukedahl

Carol Mae (Branden) Haukedahl, passed away on Wednesday, December 2, 2020 at Sunnyside in Lake Park MN.

Carol was born on February 5, 1930 to Carl and Lizzie (Danielson) Branden in Dale MN.  She grew up in Audubon where she attended school.   On December 5, 1948, she married Cameron Haukedahl in Audubon, MN.

Carol was a member of the Audubon Ladies VFW Auxiliary and member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Audubon, MN and enjoyed sewing and gardening.  She loved caring for her family and home.  Her children and grandchildren have many memories of their time spent with her.  Saturdays were CAKE day at her home where you could get a piece of cake and a cup of coffee.  Marble Cake with her homemade Chocolate Frosting was the best.  Carol enjoyed socializing with Family and Friends.

She is survived by 4 children: Bruce (Laurie) Haukedahl,  Jeffrey Haukedahl , Jan Elton all of Detroit Lakes, MN, Shelley (Curt) Ullrich of Lake Park, MN. Grandchildren: Chanin (Paul) Greene, Tawni (Zack) Haukedahl, Seth (Mindy) Haukedahl, James Mulcahy, Sheila (Jimmy) Hucks, Joel (Brittany) Mulcahy, Isaac Gottenborg, Nathan Gottenborg, Alyssa (Ben) Gloe, Taylor Elton. Great Grandchildren; Koryna, Jakob, Caden, Jaxon, Greigh, Chase, Holly, Cameron, Casey, Carter, Miah, Jonah, Archer, Sebastion, Lilah. Great Great Grandchildren: Isabella & Haizley. Step Grandchildren: Tyler (Mariah) Ullrich, Corri Ullrich. Step Great Grandchildren:Bradley, Max, MaKayla, Chandler, Ella, Parker, Oden, Haidyn, Wesley.  Sister-in-laws, Gert Stromme, Betty Ann Hoernschemeyer and brother in law Ron (Gerri) Haukedahl and many nieces and nephews.

Carol was preceded in death by her husband Cameron, her parents, one sister, Doris Kaatz, 5 brothers Larrry, Dean, Marlyn, LaMoyne,Duane Branden and 1 step grandson Matt Spieker.
