Alice Kolnes

Alice Fae Kolnes was born October 30, 1938 in Shaftsburg , MI to Kenneth and Sarah ( Warren ) Kiihn. In 1943, she moved with her parents to Alexander , ND . In 1952, her family relocated to Detroit Lakes , MN . She married Lawrence Kolnes in 1981. Lawrence passed away in 1991. Alice spent her last two years in Lakes Homes. Alice loved animals, especially cats and dogs. She loved the color purple, her jewelry and shopping with anyone who would take her to the malls.

Alice is survived by her three brothers, Kenneth (Patricia) Kiihn of Amarillo, TX, Donald (Mary) Kiihn of Winchester, KY and Lloyd (Ruby) Kiihn of Detroit Lakes, MN. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband Lawrence.
