Adeline Marie Leitheiser

Adeline Marie Leitheiser (née Anderson), affectionately known as Mickey, passed away on February 20, 2026, in Fargo, North Dakota, at the age of 99. Born on November 21, 1926, Mickey was known for her generous spirit and resilience throughout her life. She cherished the time spent with her children, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren. She enjoyed bird watching and traveling whenever possible.

Mickey was preceded in death by her husband, William Leitheiser; brothers, Ray and Richard Anderson; and her parents, Belwin and Florence (Schram) Anderson. She is survived by her brother, Alan Anderson; her children, Jackie Kennedy, Kathy Sherbrooke, Peter Kennedy (Sandy), Paul Kennedy (Donna), Debbie Kennedy, Becky Walberg (Scott), and Missy Moltzan (Rick); along with many loving grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life will be held on April 4, 2026, at the David-Donehower Funeral Home, located in Detroit Lakes, MN. A visitation will be held at 10 AM with a service to follow at 11 AM. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, contributions be made to HIA Health (Hospice) online at hiahealth.org/give/, to support hospice care and honor Mickey's memory.
