Ann Gravelle

Ann Marie Zurn was born September 16, 1929 in Callaway , MN to Joseph and Doris (Spry) Zurn. She was raised and educated near Callaway and graduated from Waubun (MN) High School. Ann attended Interstate Business College in Fargo , ND . She was united in marriage with Earl Gravelle January 28, 1956 in Callaway. During her working life she had worked in the Accounting Office at NDSU, at the Becker County Extension Office in Detroit Lakes , at Lakes Processing and the Seventh Day Adventist Thrift Store. Earl died October 27, 1991.

Ann was a member of Christian Mothers and the VFW Auxiliary. She enjoyed her family, traveling and camping.

Ann is survived by her children, Sandra Gravelle of Fargo, Joseph (Doris) of Detroit Lakes, Doreen (Doug) Klomstad of Harwood, ND, Dean “Char” of Detroit Lakes, Steve (Kathy) of Detroit Lakes, Patty (Mark) Nelson of Detroit Lakes, Bonnie (Ross) Kunz of Erhard, MN, Kathy (Wayne) Crawford of Detroit Lakes, Dan (Stacy) of Detroit Lakes, Randy of Detroit Lakes; 22 grandchildren; sister, Joyce (Ken) Otto of Mahnomen, MN; brothers, Gene (Sue) Zurn of Shoreview, MN, Damian (Carol) Zurn of Detroit Lakes, Ken (Shirley) Zurn of Fargo; sister-in-law, Doris Zurn of Brooklyn Center, MN. She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl; brothers, Cornelius and Roderick; sisters, Ardelle Beck and six infant sisters.
